Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

We advise leaving extra time for orders placed in December as peak demand can create unexpected delays.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. 

Local delivery

We offer a local delivery option for local enthusiasts, book clubs, and businesses that require a large quantity of books from our broad range of titles.

This is not intended as a convenience for private individuals, but rather as a bulk delivery option for specific audiences.

If you are eligible, the option will be displayed at checkout. You will need to specify a delivery location within a few miles of our location and order a minimum of £50.

In-store pickup

As an online shop, we do not offer in store pick up. We have no stores!

International Shipping

We offer international shipping to the EU27 and the United States only.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Aurelia and Black is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. While tracking is usually available in real time, please allow 24 hours for the tracking information to become available before contacting us.

If you haven’t received your order within 10 business days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at support@aureliablack.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.


Shipping to P.O. boxes

Some carriers have limitations around shipping to P.O. Boxes. Domestically, Royal Mail will deliver to a PO Box for you and this is usually the carrier we select.

For international orders PO Box delivery will be possible through UPS if the UPS policy allows it. Please ensure you check the policy before placing your order.

If the courier returns your item as undeliverable then it will be treated as a return.

 

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is in its a saleable condition we will normally refund the full order amount. 

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at support@aureliablack.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
